intellcert GmbH provides independent product certification services in accordance with ISO 17065. As a certification body, we objectively assess whether products meet relevant standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements – where no Notified Body (NB) obligation applies.

Relevant Standards and Guidelines

Our certification services are based on internationally recognized standards, including:

• ISO 17065 – Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes or Services
  Framework for independent product evaluations and certification procedures.

• IEC 61508 / ISO 13849 – Functional Safety
  Requirements for electrical/electronic controls and machinery safety systems.

• IEC 62443‑4‑2 – Industrial Cybersecurity
  Requirements for components in industrial automation systems.

• Other relevant standards as applicable
  e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 for information security aspects or other industry-specific safety and quality standards.

Note: Products that legally require certification exclusively by Notified Bodies are outside the scope of our certification services.

• conformity has been verified by an independent certification body.

Our activities are strictly limited to independent certification services, and specifically include:

• Conformity Assessment
  Review of documentation, technical evidence, and conformity information to verify compliance of products with relevant standards.

• Evaluation and Certification Decision
  Analysis of submitted documentation and independent decision on issuing an ISO 17065 certificate.

• Certificate Issuance and Surveillance
  Issuance of an official certificate confirming conformity, as well as conducting surveillance and recertification audits according to defined schedules and accreditation requirements.

Note: Independent product testing, test reports, or CE marking activities that are exclusively reserved for Notified Bodies are not part of our services.
