  • The EU AI Act defines a risk-based legal framework for the development, deployment, and use of AI systems. Certification provides evidence of conformity with the applicable requirements, particularly for high-risk AI systems.
• ISO/IEC 42001 – Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS)

  • This international standard specifies requirements for an AI management system and helps organizations operate AI responsibly, transparently, and accountably.
• Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)

  • AI-based products with digital components may be subject to cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and lifecycle requirements. Certification can address the relevant aspects of this regulation.
• ISO/IEC 27001 / ISO/IEC 62443 (as applicable)

  • For AI systems with a connection to information security or industrial automation, supplementary security process requirements may be included.
• VDE-AR-E 2842-61-2 / Development and Trustworthiness of Autonomous/Cognitive Systems – Part 61-2: Management

  • It was published in June 2021 and is part of a series of standards for the development of trustworthy AI and autonomous systems. This application rule describes requirements for the management of AI and autonomous systems so that their development is structured, traceable, and trustworthy.
• IEEE 7010 and other ethical guidelines

  • Recognized evaluation frameworks that consider the impact of autonomous and intelligent systems on humans, organizations, and society can be incorporated depending on the certification scope.
• ISO/IEC TS 22440 – Functional Safety of AI Systems

  • ISO/IEC TS 22440 specifies requirements and guidance for the safe use of Artificial Intelligence in safety-related applications. The certification assesses whether risks are systematically identified, evaluated, and controlled through appropriate processes throughout the entire lifecycle of AI systems. Certification according to ISO/IEC TS 22440 helps organizations demonstrate the safety and trustworthiness of their AI applications.
• prEN 18286:2025

  • prEN 18286:2025 is a European draft standard for a quality management system in connection with the EU AI Act.
• Certification of AI processes and applications provides an objective demonstration that:

  • defined AI-related processes are implemented in compliance with applicable standards,
  • risks are systematically identified and managed,
  • legal, ethical, and organizational requirements are met,
  • transparency, traceability, and responsibilities are clearly defined.
• Our activities are strictly limited to certification services and specifically include:

  • Planning and conducting certification audits to assess the conformity of AI processes, management systems, or applications,
  • Evaluation of audit results and independent certification decision,
  • Issuance and maintenance of certificates,
  • Conducting surveillance and recertification audits in accordance with applicable rules and defined intervals.

Consulting, development, support, training, or preparatory services for the implementation, adjustment, or improvement of AI systems are not part of our activities as a certification body.
