FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions about Process Certification
Process certification independently confirms that a defined process meets specified requirements and is under control. Here we answer the most common questions.
What is process certification?
A process certification assesses whether a specific process. Such as a manufacturing, special or service process. Meets defined requirements, is stably under control and delivers reproducible results.
How does it differ from product and system certification?
Product certification assesses the result, system certification the entire organisation, and process certification focuses specifically on a single process and its control. It is particularly suited to critical or special processes.
How does the assessment work?
Our activities are strictly limited to certification services: planning and conducting certification audits to assess conformity of processes with the requirements of the underlying standard, evaluation of audit results and certification decision, and issuance and maintenance of certificates within the scope of process certification.
What criteria are used as a basis?
The basis can be standards, sector-specific rules, customer requirements or defined internal specifications. We define the relevant criteria together with you at the outset within the scope.
How do we obtain a quote?
Via the service request questionnaire we capture the process to be certified, the assessment basis and the scope and prepare an individual quote for you.
