Terms and Conditions for E-Learning Courses

1. Course Format

Our E-Learning courses allow participants to acquire knowledge and skills through flexible, self-paced learning, independent of time and location.

Learning content is provided through our online learning platform in the form of presentations, videos, documents, and, where applicable, other digital learning materials.

Courses are conducted without fixed schedules. Participants can determine their own learning pace, interrupt their studies at any time, and resume them later.

Live instruction by a trainer is not included in the standard E-Learning course fee.

2. Booking and Payment

Bookings are made online through our website.

The E-Learning price indicated for the respective course is binding. Following the booking, participants will receive a booking confirmation and an invoice.

Access to the course will be provided only after full payment has been received and within the timeframe specified in Section 3.

3. Provision of Course Access

Access to the booked E-Learning course will be provided within a maximum of ten calendar days after receipt of full payment.

This provision period applies uniformly to all E-Learning courses, regardless of whether the respective learning materials are already available or still need to be prepared. Earlier provision of access is possible.

Once access has been activated, participants will receive an email notification containing the necessary login information.

The standard 30-calendar-day learning period begins only upon actual activation of course access.

4. Access and Learning Period

Access to a booked E-Learning course is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of activation.

During this period, participants may:

• Study the course content at their own pace.
• Interrupt and resume their learning activities at any time.
• Revisit previously completed learning materials.
• Monitor their current learning progress.
• Submit subject-related questions concerning the course content.

After the access period expires, regular access to the respective course will end unless an extension has been purchased.

5. Subject-Related Questions During the Course

While completing the course, participants may submit written questions relating to the learning content directly through the learning platform.

Questions will be linked to the relevant course section and answered by intellcert or appropriately qualified trainers.

Answers to relevant questions aimed at clarifying the course content are included in the E-Learning fee.

Individual management consultancy, extensive analysis of company-specific issues, and additional personal training sessions are not included.

Questions submitted during the valid access period will also be answered if their processing extends beyond the access expiry date.

6. Individual Trainer Support

Participants who require additional personal assistance beyond self-study and written answers may book an individual online meeting with a trainer.

The following options are available:

• 30-minute individual online meeting
• 60-minute individual online meeting

These services are not included in the standard E-Learning fee and are charged separately.

Appointments are arranged by mutual agreement and subject to the availability of a suitable trainer. The applicable fee will be communicated before a binding booking is made.

7. Extension of the Access Period

Participants who are unable to complete their course within the standard 30-calendar-day period, or who require additional learning time, may extend their access for an additional fee.

The following conditions apply:

• Each extension provides 20 additional calendar days of access.
• The fee for each extension is 30% of the original E-Learning course price.
• Extensions may be purchased an unlimited number of times.
• Extensions may be requested before or after the current access period expires.
• If an extension is arranged before the current access period expires, the additional period will begin immediately after the existing access period ends. If access has already expired, the new period will begin upon reactivation.
• Access will be extended or reactivated after receipt of the respective extension fee.
• Previously recorded learning progress will be retained.

During extended access periods, participants will continue to have access to the standard learning functions, including the opportunity to submit written questions relating to the course content.

8. Confirmation of Course Participation

The learning platform records participants' progress through the individual course sections.

As a general rule, a Certificate of Attendance will be issued once the following requirements have been met:

• All mandatory course content has been fully completed.
• Any required learning activities have been completed.
• Outstanding subject-related questions have been clarified, where relevant to course completion.

Upon fulfilment of these requirements, intellcert will issue a Certificate of Attendance.

The Certificate of Attendance confirms completion of the course but does not, in itself, constitute proof of a certified professional qualification.

9. Examinations and Certificates

For courses requiring an additional examination, the examination will be conducted through our separate online examination platform.

The respective course description will specify whether the examination is included in the booked course or must be booked and paid for separately.

Participation in an E-Learning course does not automatically lead to the award of a personnel or competence certification.

To obtain such certification, participants must fulfil the applicable examination and certification requirements.

10. Personal Access and Usage Rights

Access to the learning platform is personal and intended exclusively for the registered participant.

Sharing login credentials with third parties is prohibited.

All course materials are protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, publication, or commercial use without prior written consent from intellcert is prohibited.

Materials explicitly made available for download may be used for the participant's own learning purposes.

11. Technical Requirements

Participation requires an internet-enabled device with an up-to-date web browser and a stable internet connection.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary technical equipment and connectivity.

In the event of technical problems with the intellcert learning platform, our support team will be available to assist.

If a verifiable technical malfunction of our platform significantly prevents a participant from completing the course, the access period will be extended appropriately at no additional cost.

12. Right of Withdrawal and Cancellation

Consumers are entitled to their statutory rights of withdrawal, as described in the separate withdrawal information provided.

For bookings made by businesses, the agreed contractual and cancellation conditions apply, unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.

The provision of digital learning content before the expiry of any statutory withdrawal period is subject to compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

13. Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

For the provision, administration, and documentation of the course, we process relevant data, including booked courses, access periods, learning progress, and submitted questions and answers, insofar as necessary for the delivery and administration of the course.

14. Applicability of These Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions supplement the General Terms and Conditions of intellcert GmbH, insofar as they apply to the respective booking.

Any differing provisions stated in the specific course description shall take precedence over these general E-Learning Terms and Conditions, provided they have been validly agreed upon.

Mandatory statutory rights of participants remain unaffected.

intellcert GmbH
